However, the actual walking distance may be around 9 kilometers. For a reasonably fit person, it usually takes around 3 to 4 hours to complete the journey.

On 27th October, we started climbing Tirumala via Alipiri footpath at 4:45 AM. We were given DivyaDarshan tickets at the beginning of steps and on reaching Gaaligopura the step number 2083, the darshan time slot was stamped on those tickets. We took about one hour to reach this point (Some of the slow climbers in the group took 2 hours also).
